TVS has introduced the high-end electric scooter TVS X, equipped with cutting-edge features
TVS Motors has taken the wraps off its latest electric scooter, referred to as the TVS X. This innovative scooter is constructed on the reliable TVS XLETON framework, well-known for its robust aluminum composition. The TVS X stands out as a premium electric scooter, highlighting an array of state-of-the-art digital and interconnected functionalities. These encompass an easy-to-use navigation system, a mapping mechanism to locate charging points, real-time vehicle location sharing, and more.
Beneath the surface, the TVS X integrates a forced air-cooled motor that ensures effective cooling in various driving scenarios. The scooter introduces a fresh permanent magnet motor that attains a maximum speed of 105 kmph, accelerating from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.6 seconds. It grants riders the option to select from three distinct driving modes: Stealth, Xtride, and Xonic.
Empowering this electric prowess is a battery with a capacity of 3.8 kWh, offering speedy home charging capabilities that can replenish 0-50 percent of the battery within an hour when utilizing a 3 kW fast charger. The scooter also introduces an adjustable regenerative braking system and an advanced ABS for heightened safety.
Functioning as an intelligent scooter, the TVS X comes with Play Tech, which provides access to wellness features, gaming options, internet browsing, and live video functionalities. This smart scooter effortlessly syncs with smartphones, smartwatches, and helmets. Moreover, the scooter is equipped with Smart Shield, a security feature designed to thwart unauthorized access.
TVS X Price
The TVS X has made its debut with an initial price tag of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, customers have the opportunity to purchase a portable 950W charger for Rs 16,275, and there’s also the choice of a 3 kW smart home charger. It’s important to note that the TVS X model is not eligible for FAME incentives.
TVS X Booking
Bookings for the scooter are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to kick off in November 2023. The TVS X is also planned to be exported to all TVS global markets starting from the following fiscal year.
